There is a new update for the free Kronos editor on Korg's website. Is the Midi Quest 11 version going to be updated as well?

There is an update for the Kronos editor coming for Midi Quest. We expect it to be available later in January.

When the update for the Kronos editor is released will it be announced here or do you go to check for updates?

I'm just bought Midi Quest 11 and was frustrated with getting my Korg Kronos X with v3.1.2 downloaded until I read the tips which helped. Also here's the additional info to get it to work:
1) need to use the USB cable instead of 5 pin midi cables
2) set # of buffers to 99
3) buffer size to 99999
After that everything syncs and lets you edit. Once I got this to work it was an amazing! Thanks mlambie

Thanks for the feedback. We have added this information into the Fast Tips. Most people won't require these settings however, this is why we provide access to the buffer settings - so that changes can be made to handle a range of computer systems.

Do you mean the Kronos editor in Midi Quest or Korg's? Assuming you mean for Midi Quest, hopefully, there will be an update in a couple of months.

Sorry for hijacking this tread, but just keeping to the subject of Kronos.

As described in the Kronos Editor 3.1 guide (for the free Korg editor), the "Collection contextual menu" can be accessed by right clicking (Mac Ctrl-click) over the Collection view. This is not working on my iMac OS 10.12. Can it please be confirmed if this is functional, or maybe a bug, or perhaps an issue with my setup?

Thanks,
Len
