MQ11 Pro & .dll

PostSun Jul 16, 2017 1:26 pm

I have the MQ11 Pro x64 demo installed, and I have defined the VST path as C:\Program Files\Cakewalk\Vstplugins.

I have installed the Korg Kronos V3 as an instrument. However, the appropriate .dll file is not in the above-referenced folder. So when I open Sonar and do a VST scan, it doesn't find the .dll, and I can't run MQ11 as a VST.

How can I get the needed .dll file?

Thanks.

I solved this myself.

At the time I posted, I did not realize that I needed to tell MQ to create a .dll file.

RTFM.

Thanks anyway.

The path you have specified is specifically protected by Windows and is generally only accessible to installers. You should specify a different path, run VST creation, then copy the .dll file from the path you have specified to c:\Program Files\Cakewalk\Vstplugins.
