Here is what I need to do, but which SQ product?

I am new to synths and recently purchased an Ensoniq ESQ-1. The synth is old and I would think there is now a better process for patch transfers than the methods presented in the manual. There are 40 internal patches, most are not usable for me. I need a way to selectively keep the ones I want, and overwrite the undesirable ones. I have a good selection of sounds spread out over 7 sound cartridges. I have a M-Audio Midisport 1X1 and a newer Win/64 notebook. The aforementioned is all I'm trying to accomplish. Does SQ have a SQ " Lite" type software? I don't think I need editing and and other sophisticated features, or do I?

Thanks,
Rich

Hello Rich,

The "litest" version of Midi Quest is Essentials. Yes, it does have editing but without an editing option there just isn't enough interest to have a viable product.
