Sysex transfer

PostFri Dec 05, 2014 7:13 pm

Hello there,

I am using MidiQuest 10 XL on my mac pro 2010. I am trying to send some sysex files to my YAMAHA DX7. Every time I try this, MidiQuest crashes. Where could be a problem? Settings on DX7 are set well so there should not be any issues.

Hello Thomas,

The best way to determine what the issue is would be to send the crash logs from the Mac to Sound Quest support. The logs will usually give them a good indication of where and consequently why the crash is occurring. One of the factors may be the Mac OS you are running on and whether v10 supports it.

I am working on Mavericks. And how can I get those logs? I got no message, MidiQuest just closes.

The files are stored in

~/Library/Logs/CrashReporter

(in your user area)
